Others, however, argue that hiring cleaners could help students save time and devote to their studies is merely a pretext* Typically, college education is not dominated by heavy loads of coursework and college students have ample time to manage their own afeirs apart &om studies. Usually, those students who claim they are too busy to clean their own dorms are most often found preoccupied with playing computer games or shopping. They refuse to do manual labor because they tend to regard themselves as elites once they succeed in entering a college.

Personally, I think college students shouldnt hire cleaners. In performing the cleaning himself/herselft a college student learns to share the responsibility for managing a public space of which one is a part. It goes without saying that these products have benefited us substantially. With digital cameras, we can take almost as many photos as we like, as long as we have access to a computer to store them. Besides, we can those pictures we dislike without worrying about waste of film. Again, with digital television, we can enjoy more channels and scenes of higher quality than provided by conventional ones.

However, just as every coin has two sides, these digital products may also exert a negative influence on us. For instance, we miss the happiness of going through pictures taken by traditional cameras. Usually, after taking photos with digital cameras, we store them up and never have a look again.

With the gloomy prospect of returning to school, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome,which refers to a general feeling of depression before returning to campus life, which is caused by irregular lifestyles during the holiday.Symptoms include fatigue,lack of appetite and concentration,irritability and a feeling of helplessness.

Various reasons can account for it.But most important of all,a large number of students tend to overindulge themselves in eating,merrymaking and playing around during the holidays,which makes it difficult to adjust to their routine study schedule and life pace on the campus.
